NO CLOUD AI
NO VPN
easier than a VPN. way more punk.
Put PocketHam on the Mac, Windows PC or Linux machine that runs your AI. It finds your models and agents on its own.
Open PocketHam on your iPhone and scan the code on your computer screen. That pairs them for good.
Home Wi-Fi, cell, a hotel, the rink. Open the app and your computer is right there, sealed end to end.
pick one. or take the whole box.
Ollama, LM Studio, llama.cpp, MLX, Jan and more show up by name, on every computer you pair. Pick a model and go, on the couch or across the country. Every chat lives on your computer, and you pick up right where you left off.

Run your own ComfyUI from anywhere: the couch, the office, a hotel on cell. No VPN, no port forwarding, no Tailscale, no account. Your GPU stays at home and every prompt and picture travels sealed end to end, straight to your phone.
And it runs your real workflows, not a watered-down template. PocketHam turns each one into a clean form, and every node is one tap deeper: change any setting, switch nodes on or off, pin the ones you use most to the top.
your GPU. your nodes. your call.

Just need a shell? Restart the stuck service, tail a log, kick off a build, check on a long job. You get a full keyboard with esc, ctrl, arrows and F-keys, and your sessions keep running when you lock the phone. tmux sessions show up too.
root for the underdog

Left the PDF on your desk? Open the folders you choose to share, preview photos and documents, search, and save files to your phone. Going the other way, send photos, videos and files from your phone straight into the folder you're looking at, at full quality. Sending is off until you switch it on at the computer, and nothing is ever overwritten. Grabbing something big on cell data? PocketHam offers to wait until you're home.

Hand a task to Hermes, opencode, Goose, Codex, Claude Code and more, then watch every step from your phone. When an agent wants to do something big, your lock screen lights up: allow once, allow for the session, or deny.
work for yourself.

The dashboards and tools running at home, in a built-in browser, from anywhere. Only the ones you share, and the rest of your phone's traffic stays normal.
Dictate on the phone and hear replies in natural voices made by your own computer.
See what each AI app is using, start or stop it, and free up memory with a tap.
Pair your Macs, PCs and Linux boxes to one phone and switch between them in a tap.
The Mac, Windows and Linux app is a free download. Plans are subscriptions in the iPhone app, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. Still no PocketHam account.
A VPN connects devices. PocketHam connects you to your AI. One app, built for exactly this, with nothing to configure.
bring your own stack.
Pair as many as you own to one phone.
Home Wi-Fi, cell, or any network.
Running something else? Any local server that speaks the OpenAI-style API is found automatically, on any port.
Plus any agent that speaks the Agent Client Protocol. Our compatibility lab tests the newest version of each one every night.
Your phone and computer talk directly whenever they can, sealed with keys only your devices hold. When a network gets in the way, the sealed connection hops through a relay that can't read it. Your prompts, files and voice stay yours. No cloud AI ever sees a word.
who do they think they're fooling? you?
off the clock, ham fronts a punk band that can barely play.
Chatting with your own AI is free, at home and away, along with model switching, chat history and memory control. PocketHam Pro ($4.99 a month) adds agents with lock-screen approvals, the terminal and natural voices. Full Ham ($7.99 a month, with a 3-day free trial) adds ComfyUI, files, web apps and a much bigger allowance for heavy use away from home.
A VPN links whole devices and leaves the rest to you: addresses, ports, and finding apps that work over it. PocketHam is one app built for your AI. It pairs with a scan, finds your models and agents by itself, and only its own traffic goes home. Everything else on your phone works exactly as before.
No. On Windows, PocketHam installs just for you, in your own user folder, with no admin prompt, and updates the same way. On Linux, the AppImage runs without admin rights. On a Mac, drag it into the Applications folder inside your home folder if your account isn't an admin. If Windows asks to allow network access, Cancel is fine: PocketHam still connects.
No cloud AI is involved. Your models, chats, files and voice stay on your computer and your phone. When a direct connection isn't possible, sealed traffic passes through a relay, which can't read it.
Neither. You pair your phone by scanning a code on your computer. It works through home routers and firewalls as they are.
A Mac (Apple silicon), Windows PC or Linux machine running a local AI app like Ollama or LM Studio, and an iPhone.
Yes. On Wi-Fi at home it connects directly. On cell or another network it connects directly when it can and through the sealed relay when it can't.
Yes, PocketHam. Ollama, LM Studio and other local AI apps keep running on your Mac, PC or Linux box, and the PocketHam iPhone app connects to them from anywhere: home Wi-Fi, cell or any other network. Install the free desktop app, scan one code and every model shows up by name. No port forwarding, no VPN and no account. Chatting is free.
ComfyUI keeps running on your computer, and PocketHam turns each saved workflow into a form on your phone. Change any node setting, switch nodes on or off, run batches of up to 10 and watch live previews, at home or away, with no remote access to set up. ComfyUI is part of Full Ham.
Yes. Turn on agents at your computer, then hand tasks to Claude Code, Codex, opencode, Goose, Hermes and other Agent Client Protocol agents from your phone. When an agent wants to run a command, the approval lands on your lock screen. Agents are part of PocketHam Pro.
Each computer and phone has its own cryptographic key. You pair once by scanning a short-lived code on your computer's screen, with no account. Every connection after that is end-to-end encrypted over QUIC with TLS 1.3. Your devices connect directly whenever the network allows, through home routers as they are. When a network blocks that, the sealed connection passes through the PocketHam relay, which sees encrypted traffic and the addresses needed to pass it along, never what's inside.
